As part of our curriculum, we had our Field Trip and Seminar last September 20-24, 2011 in Manila. That 5-day fieldtrip was composed of 20 students, a mix of BSIT and BSCS 3rd year and 4th year students who were allowed to enroll in the Fieldtrip and Seminar Program. We were accompanied by our instructor, Dr. Randy S. Gamboa all throughout the duration of the trip. We hired Maynilad Tours & Educational Services Inc. to arrange appointments with our selected companies for us and prepare a tour schedule for us which is comprised of 2 company visits for each day, with the 2nd day reserved for the Y4IT congress in UP Diliman and shopping/strolling time for us at different malls in the early evening before going back to the hotel. They also helped us make reservations in Kabayan Hotel in Pasay City. We booked a flight with Air Philippines Express with the flight number 2P982 and set to board at 6 in the morning of September 20, 2011.
Right after our arrival in NAIA, we were scheduled for a company visit at PLDT INNOLAB for the whole morning, at SPI Servisoft in the afternoon and malling/shopping time for us at the SM Mall of Asia. For the next day, we were scheduled to attend the annual Y4IT congress in UP Diliman for the entire day. For the third day, we were set to have a company visit to Fluor Daniel in the morning and to DOST-STII in the afternoon. We were bound for Social Security System in the morning of our 4th day, and Exist Global in the afternoon. For our last day in Manila, we were at Luneta Park and National Museum in the morning and at Tutuban after lunch until around 3pm. Then we went straight to NAIA for our flight bound for Davao.
