Today, I went on a company visit to
Social Security System, East Ave., Quezon City
Exist Global, Ortigas Center
What I learned?
We went to Social Security System in the morning of our 4th day. Ms. Annie Hugo talked about what is SSS and what does it mean to have Social Security. I learned how important being a member of SSS can be beneficial in the future. I also learned about the benefits that a member can have. Also, I learned about the programs and plans of SSS in the near future for their members.
In the afternoon, we went to Exist Global for our last company visit. We were briefed with what Exist Global really is and introduced what Exist Code Camp is. I learned and realized that if I want to be part of their company someday, I really need to learn more about programming in Java. I also learned that there are attitudes that programmers should have.
What I liked?
What I liked in our visit in SSS was when they showed us the different features in their office like their e-center, biometric scanner and etc.
In Exist Global, I liked the fact that they gave out prizes for those who will ask questions and their presentations were very well done and prepared. I can really see how competent they are in their field.
What I didn’t like?
What I didn’t like about the tour was we were not able to see their data center. I would have liked to see what it looks like and what the technologies that they currently have are.
What I didn’t like in our tour in Exist Global was we were not able to see their nice workplace that I was very interested to see. All we had was pure lecture and discussion.
